Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit® makes available the following privacy notice in compliance with the provisions of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).
Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit® is committed to complying with legal and security measures to protect your personal data and to ensure that you have knowledge, control and decision-making over them.
Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit® is a Civil Association duly constituted in accordance with the Laws of the United Mexican States.
Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit® collects data through this website which will be used to provide various activities and services such as sending you relevant information about the activities that Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit® carries out, develops, promotes, organizes, as well as inviting you to various meetings, forums, events, courses, training, among others.
The data you provide us will be kept under the protection of the person responsible for the administrative area.
Unless you state otherwise, Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit® will use your data to send you promotional information, various actions of its affiliated members, strategic allies and partners related to tourism, sustainability, social responsibility, studies, research, consultations, surveys.

Registration and access
The regular registration fee for participants in the in-person modality is 6,000.00 Mexican pesos (US 300.00) and 1,200.00 Mexican pesos (US 60.00) for participants in the virtual modality.
Once payment has been made, confirmation of your registration, along with your access code, will be sent by email prior to the event date.
The capacity for in-person classes will be limited by the maximum capacity established by the current health regulations established by the competent authorities. Once this capacity is reached, the capacity cannot be exceeded under any circumstances.
The invoice for the registration fee will be issued in Mexican pesos with the data provided during online registration. No changes will be made.
Registration fees include only access to the event in the selected modality. In the case of the in-person modality, they do not include lodging, food, transportation or other types of services not specified.
The event website will provide information on tourism service providers offering special rates for participants. Space availability is not guaranteed by Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit, AC. Participants must contact the hotel and/or airline of their choice to book their accommodation and air transportation.
Participants in the in-person modality agree to adhere to the health protocols established by the authorities during the event and to follow the instructions of the organizing committee and its staff in this regard at all times.
General, payments and cancellations
Payments made for registration to Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit, AC 2021 are non-refundable.
Participants who so require may transfer their registration to a third party free of charge until August 20, 2021. After that date, they must pay 500.00 Mexican pesos for the name change, both in the in-person and virtual modalities.
In the event of definitive cancellation of their attendance, the participant will be able to obtain a voucher equivalent to the amount paid, fully creditable towards the next edition of the Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit, if they notify the organizing committee before August 20, 2021. If the cancellation is received after that date, a cancellation fee of 1,500.00 Mexican pesos (US 75.00) will be applied for the in-person modality and 500.00 Mexican pesos (25.00 USD) for the virtual modality. No refunds of any kind will be made to those participants who do not notify their intention to cancel before September 1.
In the event of cancellation of the in-person event or any of its parts, due to a civil strike, civil unrest, military action, hurricane, change in health traffic lights, health emergency or any other cause that occurs and is not the responsibility of Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit AC, participants will have the right to participate in the virtual modality and to obtain a voucher equivalent to the payment made creditable for the next edition of the event. In the event of cancellation of both modalities for the same reasons, all participants will receive a bonus for the next edition for the amount paid. Under no circumstances will the participant be reimbursed for the full amount paid. Likewise, Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit, AC, will not be responsible for losses or damages to participants resulting from any total or partial cancellation outside the organization of the event.
Limitation of obligations
The participant acknowledges and accepts that Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit, AC, and the event organizing team, will not be responsible for any damage, loss or harm, caused by third parties, that occurs during their trip to or from Cancun, as well as during the days of the event.
Participant agrees to resolve all situations regarding registration fees and refunds directly with Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit, AC, and never through denial of charges to credit card companies.
